And you&#039;re right about the number of characters; it&#039;ll be an interesting balancing act to spend enough time getting to know them, and yet also let the story move. (I&#039;m optimistic about it, though! One of my creative touchstones is &lt;i&gt;Haibane Renmei&lt;/i&gt;, which introduces six of its main characters in the very first episode and yet beautifully manages to keep them all distinct. So I at least know it&#039;s possible. :) )</description>
