Groovy art, but my critique is focused on the lettering of panel 3… yikes! ;) It is important to remember Lettering is an art form as well, and just as much as the words, the placing and juxtaposition of the word balloons help to creatively tell the story. Of course I realize and understand this is only page 3, so I feel safe to assume when I get to later pages this comment may become a bit moot. :)
That is a very good point. If I were writing this now, we’d definitely put the “camera” 180 degrees around, so that the person with the first line was on the left. In fact, if we ever go back to recolor these early pages to better match the later ones, I’d be tempted to just horizontally flip that panel and do the word bubbles over…of course, then Sepia would have her hair parted on the wrong side. :P
