Aww. Nansa may be a jock, but she’s also really sweet. (Not to imply that those are two opposite ends of a single spectrum or anything.)

Ha ha, more nifty tricks of light in the third and last panels. Does Tulinn cast a shadow? It looks like she’s not quite standing in the sun in the last panel, but I can’t tell for sure.

aHA! I was hoping someone would pick up on that! =D yay!

Yes, Tulinn is NOT casting a shadow (Nansa, who isn’t even near that window, still is). And neither are her features registering the direction of the light. ;)

Hmm. I thought the question about Tulinn casting a shadow had been asked before, but looking back it turns out it was Hrae someone asked about instead. My mistake.

As for direction of light, Tulinn looked kind of directionally shaded back in chapter 1 page 12, but unlike the other characters present I can’t say that for certain. She does appear to cast shadows on her own body from hair and the like.

I suppose it’s not too surprising, given her status as “the one who is not there” (a term I’ve coined for her. It seemed fitting). You can hear her, but not touch her. See her, but only if she wants you to. She is ghostly.
